Security Training Guard Week
The Security Guard Training Week is a combination of Level II, Level III, Level IV and Pepper Spray for one discounted price. This is a great opportunity for students to take advantage of while saving time and course fees. Students will be saving on average $200 by taking all the classes in a special combo and will be getting the License to Carry (LTC) course for FREE, in addition to other perks.
During the Security Guard Training Week, students will learn about laws, regulations, use of force, defensive tactics, baton, handcuffing, handgun use and safety and much more. To learn more about the whole curriculum, use the following:

Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older to take the course and apply for a Level II and Level III
- Must be 21 years of age or older to take the course and apply for a Level IV Personal Protection pocket card
Come prepared to take this course with the following gear:
License to Carry
- Semi-automatic handgun or a revolver (any caliber), unloaded and in a box, case or bag.
- One box with 50 rounds of ammunition
- Baseball Cap or hat
- Safety, prescription or sun glasses
- Hearing protection (earplugs or earmuffs)
- Footwear that covers both feet entirely
- No low cut or “V” neck shirts
- Hand towel
Level II
- Note taking gear
- Pens and highlighters
- A 3-ring 1.5 inch or larger binder
- Water
Level III
- Semiautomatic handgun cal 9mm or above. If shooting revolver .38 or above
- 12 gauge shotgun (semi or pump)
- OWB Kydex holster (leather, soft nylon holsters are not recommended)
- Sturdy belt/duty belt
- Semi-automatic handgun with 3-4 magazines
- Magazine pouch (single or double)
- 2 speed loaders if shooting revolvers
- Long sleeve shirt and long pants (No “V” neck, cut off, or muscle shirts)
- Closed-toe shoes
- Hat
- 100 rounds of ammunition cal 9mm or above. If shooting revolver .38
- 18 shotgun shells 00 buckshot
- Eye and ear protection (electronic preferred)
- Water and snacks
Level IV
- Note taking gear
- Pens and highlighters
- Water
The following is not required but recommended
- Drinks and snacks
- Laptop or tablet
- Tourniquet (TQ) and or IFAK
- Mouth guard
- Athletic wear
- Grappling gloves
- Bug spray
- Sunscreen
- Sweat towel or anything you may need to be comfortable
Extra Range Instruction
(only for those taking the full week)
- IWB or OWB Kydex holster (leather, soft nylon holsters are not recommended)
- Sturdy belt
- Semi-automatic handgun with 2-3 magazines
- Magazine pouch (single or double)
- Long sleeve shirt and long pants (No “V” neck, cut off, or muscle shirts)
- Shirt or vest to draw from concealment
- Closed-toe shoes
- Hat
- 200-300 rounds of ammunition
- Tourniquet (TQ) and or IFAK
- 5 Dummy rounds
- Eye and ear protection (electronic preferred)
- Water and snacks
NO RELOADED, HAND LOADED or SURPLUS AMMUNITION ALLOWED. Use commercial ammunition only.
