
Intro to Defensive Pistol Skills is designed to introduce the student to defensive shooting skills under stressful situations.
Improvement of proficiency, movement, and accuracy are emphasized so the student is ready to successfully employ these techniques in a tactical or survival situation. Upon completion of this training, you will leave with an understanding of how to sharpen your skills to their maximum ability, push your mind, and stress your body to expose your personal capabilities and limitations. Students should come prepared to learn, both mentally and physically.

Who Can Attend/Requirements
Open to law-abiding citizens, law enforcement, military
Students should be familiar with their equipment. This IS NOT a basic course; solid pistol fundamentals and safety should be conducted at all times.
Come prepared to take this course with the following gear:
- IWB or OWB Kydex holster (leather, soft nylon holsters are not recommended)
- Sturdy Belt
- Semi-automatic handgun with 3-4 magazines
- Magazine pouch (single or double)
- Long sleeve shirt and long pants (No “V” neck, cut off, or muscle shirts)
- Closed-toe shoes
- Hat
- 300-350 rounds of ammunition
- Tourniquet (TQ) and or IFAK
- 5 Dummy rounds
- Eye and ear protection (electronic preferred)
- Water and snacks
The following is not required but recommended:
- Snacks or small meal
- Drinks
- Bug spray
- Sunscreen
- Sweat towel or anything you may need to be comfortable
- Check the weather on the day of the course and dress appropriately.
